Watch for export control updates that expand from hardware into model weights, cloud access, and specialized talent flows. Watch for procurement rules that effectively set global standards because large buyers demand them.
And watch for the trust gap to become a leadership metric. The organizations that win the AI decade may not be the ones with the flashiest demos, but the ones that can prove, to employees and regulators alike, that their systems are safe enough to rely on and useful enough to keep.
